Jason Momoa and his new friend hung out together in Hawaii wearing traditional malo.
Jason Momoa’s commitment to wearing his new favorite garment, a Hawaiian malo, every chance he gets is unwavering.
Last Wednesday, the 43-year-old Aquaman star told Jimmy Kimmel he enjoys wearing a malo, which resembles a loincloth. He wears his malo daily while preparing to film his forthcoming Apple TV+ series Chief of War. Lucky for us, he’s not shy; Momoa has shared several photos and videos of himself wearing the malo during outings on social media.

Jason Momoa Wears Malo on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
During Momoa’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last Wednesday, the actor told Kimmel, 55, he always wears the malo.
“I was just getting ready for the role, ’cause I like to get into character, and so I was tanning my white ass,” Momoa told Kimmel of his now famous fishing trip in the malo. “It was a second — you go past, and he just happened to take a little photo.”
“Oh my God, yes. I actually don’t even like wearing clothes anymore,” Momoa said when Kimmel asked if the malo was comfy. “I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.”
Momoa’s new movie Slumberland premiered on Netflix on Nov. 18.
