“Colton has been pitching a TV wedding for a long time,” said a source. Colton thought a wedding for the first gay Bachelor would “start a bidding war between networks”. Despite this, so far no streaming services so far have said ‘yes,'” sources tell Radar.

Reports say Underwood has been going to meetings with potential programming executives without his fiance. He was very optimistic about his chances of selling the rights.

“To say he was optimistic is an understatement, he was 100% positive this was a done deal.”

What We Know About Underwood and Brown

Underwood and political strategist Jordan C. Brown announced their engagement in February. He shared the big announcement with his friends, family, and followers on Instagram.

Colton Talks Coming Out

Since coming out as gay in April on Good Morning America, Underwood has not been shy about sharing his coming-out journey with the public. His Netflix series Coming Out Colton showed the 30-year-old telling his immediate family and friends that he is gay.

But Underwood said he decided to keep his relationship with Brown private, at least for a while. The two did not go public until after the documentary had premiered on the streaming platform.

“After The Bachelor, I learned the boundaries and healthiness of having a private relationship,” he told People. “Everybody went through my breakup [with Cassie Randolph] and the ups and downs of my dating life. It’s nice for me to have something for myself.”

However, Underwood continues to share glimpses of his relationship online, including engagement photos and adorable birthday posts.
