Samuel Bishop Macías and Javier López knew their day would be full of magic when they walked through the gates of Disneyland in Anaheim, California last weekend. What they didn’t know is that they were both carrying engagement rings in their bags.

In a beautiful video posted to TikTok by @jennytuell14, Javier is down on one knee in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, and holding out a ring box to his partner. Samuel then reaches into his bag, pulls out his engagement ring, and joins Javier on one knee. Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” plays over the video.

Both men are emotional, sharing a quick kiss and embracing as they take in this magical moment. They said yes! The camera then pans out to show the entire castle and the supportive theme park goers. It’s like a real-life fairytale come true!

Jenny said she shared the video with the happy couple and got their permission to post it on TikTok. Samuel even commented on the post saying, “Thank you so much! For being our unofficial videographer, you are the sweetest. Thank you thank you a thousand times!” The video quickly went viral and currently has nearly 25 million views and five million likes.

Samuel also posted about the enchanting moment on his Instagram. He wrote, “We said yes… Thank you, thank you for choosing me everyday, thank you for being the best friend, partner, partner in crime, thank you for wanting to be my life partner and team up together in everything. We have been through so many things together, painful things, uncomfortable, sad things, but most of all many moments of laughter and happiness and love. I love you and I will always love you…. No matter what!”

We just love LGBTQ+ proposals!
