Taco Bell is yassifying its breakfast menu with lip syncs and $5 breakfast boxes.
Select Taco Bell Cantinas across the U.S. will be hosting a fabulous new experience called “Taco Bell Drag Brunch.” The five-stop restaurant tour aims to celebrate the LGBTQIA community through an immersive experience.
“We understand the importance of creating safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community and are thrilled to provide a unique experience that spotlights and celebrates the wonderful art form of drag and its influence on culture with their chosen families,” said Sean Tresvant, Global Chief Brand Officer at Taco Bell.
What to Expect From Drag Brunch
Drag performer and taco extraordinaire Kay Sedia is hosting Drag Brunch which features flawless live performances and a boozy menu. For instance, attendees can choose from fire brunch items like $5 breakfast boxes, Cinnabon Delights Coffee, mimosas, and more! Meanwhile, the local drag kings and queens will entertain folks with lip-syncs and performances.
Taco Bell Celebrates the LGBTQIA+ Community
Taco Bell Drag Brunch is a concept from Live Más Pride, Taco Bell’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group. The Taco Bell Foundation is also partnering with the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit seeking to uplift, empower, and connect queer youth around the globe. So to show support, each Drag Brunch will educate the attendees on the nonprofit’s mission and how they can get involved.
The tour kicks off on May 1st and travels through these destinations.
