Zander Hodgson: “I just want you to know that you are not alone.”
British model, actor, and Instagram hottie Zander Hodgson lives in Los Angeles and has appeared on Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Shameless, and Ray Donovan. Recently, he came out as gay on YouTube in hopes of inspiring others who are struggling with their identity.
In his coming out video, Hodgson said he wanted to “connect to others” and “to connect to you more.” Hodgson continued, “I think about all the kids out there that are being bullied or are really struggling, even teenagers or adults, I just want you to know that you are not alone.”

He went on to admit that he felt being out could potentially damage his career. “There aren’t many gay actors out there in my age range that I feel I can relate to. I don’t think there are many opportunities out there for gay men to play straight roles,” the 27-year-old explained.
“While I love watching gay films about relationships, where straight actors have taken on the role, I also question ‘why is a straight actor in that role when there are so many gay actors out there?’” he asked.
