Photos From ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Set Show Lady Gaga’s Unhinged Harley Quinn

Lady Gaga is seen causing a scene on the streets of Gotham City in these behind-the-scene photos of the Joker: Folie à Deux set.

The “Applause” singer could be on her way to scoring two more Oscar nominations for her performance in the musical sequel to Todd Phillips’s 2019 film, Joker.

In the leaked photo posted to Twitter, Gaga looks dangerous, which is only further proved when she shatters the glass of a window display before snatching a television set and disappearing into the crowd. We have no idea what Quinn is up to, but it’s likely nothing good. Watch the video below.

In 2022, fans got a first look at the actress as the Clown Princess of Crime in an image shared by the director online. In it, Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker looks lovingly down at an awestruck Harley Quinn, played by Gaga.

Unfortunately, the leaked clips fail to show us what Gaga will wear when she transforms into Harley Quinn. The singer is sporting her signature blonde locks and is wearing a simple black jacket and grey beanie. We are eager to see how Gaga will reinvent the classic character for this adaptation. If anyone wants to share more photos of Mother Monster’s costumes on set, we would not complain!

In the sequel, Gaga will star alongside actor Joaquin Phoenix, who is reprising his Oscar-winning role as the deranged Joker. Unlike the first installment, Joker: Folie à Deux will be a musical.

Zazie Beetz will also return as Sophie Dumond. Joining the Joker team is Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.

Joker: Folie à Deux will premiere in theaters on Oct. 4, 2024.
