As presidential hopefuls continue to scramble for support and votes, the largest LGBT rights organization has just announced their recommended candidate. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) officially gave Hillary Clinton their endorsement today. The Democratic candidate is expected to accept the endorsement next week.
“She has stood with us, and now it’s our turn. Her fight is our fight,” the HRC said in their statement today. They further detailed Clinton’s history of support for the LGBTQ community, recalling legislative history and even her equal rights work abroad.
