Full House co-stars respond to the untimely death of Bob Saget, who played patriarch Danny Tanner on the hit series for 13 seasons.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Bob Saget, best known for his role as the neurotic Danny Tanner, was found unresponsive in his Florida hotel room on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Now, his TV family is taking to social media to show support and share their condolences. John Stamos, who stared alongside Saget, was the first to comment via Twitter.

Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis, the hunky brother-in-law of Saget’s Danny Tanner. In the show, Uncle Jesse moves in to help raise his nieces played by Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Dave Coulier, Saget’s TV best friend Joey, tweeted shortly after the announcement.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played the youngest daughter Michelle Tanner, released a statement in response to the news that their TV dad had passed away.

Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has. We are thinking of his daughters, wife, and family and are sending our condolences.

Andrea Barber and Lori Loughlin, two of Saget’s Full House co-stars, also responded to the heartbreaking news. Barber, who played neighbor Kimmy Gibbler, posted to Instagram with throwbacks from the original series.

Loughlin, also known as Aunt Becky to Full House fans, shared the screen as Saget’s TV co-worker and, in later seasons, sister-in-law and housemate. While Loughlin doesn’t have social media, she released a personal statement.

Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am. Bob was more than my friend, he was my family. I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter. I love you Bobby.

While Saget may be best known for raising his three TV daughters, we will remember him as the man who helped raise millions of kids over more than three decades through his wise life lessons and love on Full House.

Rest in Peace, Bob.
