Avenger‘s star Chris Hemsworth is set to take on a role he was born to play: a stripper.
That’s right, Thor is putting down his hammer and picking up a badge to portray a police officer who goes undercover as a male stripper. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hemsworth’s character in the upcoming film Down Under Cover takes to the pole to solve a chain of casino heists.
Although we can’t wait to see Hemsworth in a G-string, we’re even more excited about his costar, comedian Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip). In the film, Haddish portrays a lone-wolf detective who investigates the casino case with Hemsworth.

If you saw the 2015 film Vacation, you probably remember the scene in which Hemsworth struts his stuff in a pair of loose-fitting boxer shorts. While his impressive package was fake, it has audiences everywhere clutching their pearls and reaching for some lube.
Haddish will also appear in The Kitchen opposite Melissa McCarthy as well as Limited Partners with Salma Hayek and Rose Byrne. She recently starred in Tuca & Bertie, a Netflix show from the creators of BoJack Horseman. Tuca & Bertie is an adult-themed cartoon about two middle-aged birdies who happen to be besties; it’s sort of like Broad City but with birds.
