In 2021, Daley revealed that he picked up the knitting needles after his husband and Oscar-winning screenwriter, Dustin Lance Black, suggested he needed a way to sit still.

The athlete was so committed to the new hobby he even worked on a knit between his 2021 Tokyo Olympics events.

Now, Daley has turned his hobby work into a full-fledged business, offering fans a way to recreate some of his most iconic designs by purchasing his templates on Made With Love by Tom Daley.

The olympian even has an Instagram dedicated to his one-of-a-kind wardrobe with more than 1.3 million followers! Check it out here!

Unfortunately for fans, Daley doesn’t do custom orders, but a few of his lucky friends and family have been able to make special requests.

So, what type of inquiries has he had? Daley revealed the weirdest item friends ask him to make are willy warmers, otherwise known as a sock for your — you get it. Daley doesn’t seem to mind as he said he finds the pastime “so therapeutic.”

If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that we all need to find an activity we enjoy.

We wonder if we will see Daley donning a knit speedo anytime soon. After all, according to the diver, “if you name it, I’ve made it.”
