Colton Haynes’ estranged husband, Jeff Leatham, replied to the Arrow actor’s divorce filing.
Just six months after the couple tied the knot, Colton Haynes, 29, filed for divorce from his husband, Jeff Leatham. The pair married at a Palm Springs hotel in front of 120 guests, and Leatham’s longtime friend Kris Jenner officiated their ceremony.
Leatham, 46, filed a response to Haynes’ request to end their marriage in court documents filed May 10.
The Four Seasons’ artistic director asked that the court not be involved in granting spousal support to either himself or his soon to be ex-husband.
Both Haynes and Leatham cited irreconcilable difference as the basis for their divorce and declared May 1, 2018, as their official date of separation.
The couple’s relationship came under scrutiny after Haynes removed several photos of him and Leatham from his Instagram account. The Teen Wolf star also dropped his hyphenated name from his Instagram bio as well as the word “husband.”
Leatham his hyphenated name as well.
Reports implied infidelity was the cause of the split. Haynes released an acoustic song called “Man It Sucks”, which referenced a “cheating drama.” In the wake of the rumors, Haynes set the record straight. “Jeff would never cheat,” Haynes tweeted. “He’s an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him. The song I wrote was about a past relationship.”
