What We Do in the Shadows star Harvey Guillén is all loved up this Pride season.

Who is Harvey Guillén
Guillén first broke out into stardom for his role in Hulu’s fantasy mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows. In case you’re not familiar, he plays a vampire bodyguard named Guillermo de la Cruz. Since his big break, the Mexican-American actor lent his voice to Perrito, the positive pup in Dreamwork’s Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, alongside Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas. Later this summer, He will join the DC Cinematic Universe in the superhero film, Blue Beetle.
“When I was young I would have loved to have seen these shows and feel seen,” Guillén told People. “It fills my heart with joy to know someone out there [could be] watching and thinking, ‘Hey, they’re like me!’ and feel included.”

Guillén is making his place in Hollywood and spreading wonderful representation with every project he touches. In May, he had the honor of hosting the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City, a feat he said would not be possible without his boyfriend cheering him on. “Having someone who supports and loves you by your side definitely helps calm your nerves,” he said of Braun.
