The trailer is raunchy and disturbing, and darling, you should probably be worried. Very worried.
We finally have a trailer for the new psychological thriller, Don’t Worry Darling, and everything is not as it seems. Warning: this trailer is NSFW.
Starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh and directed by Olivia Wilde, the film shows what happens when “a 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets.”

The trailer has several shots of Pugh’s Alice and Styles’ Jack sharing steamy, intimate moments. And I mean several. But the raunchy is balanced by the thrill as Alice notices terrifying events happening around the neighborhood. Like her reflection watching as she sinks into the tub and a window slowly smashing her against a wall.
When Alice questions her reality, her husband Jack urges her to let it go. The king of gaslighting.
“Our lives together, we could lose this,” he tells her in the trailer. “I don’t trust him. And I don’t want to be here anymore,” she replies.
During a screening of the film in Vegas on April 26, Wilde said she hopes this film groups with others that “push the boundaries of our imagination.”
“I want you to imagine a life where you have everything you could ever want or dream of. Not just the material tangible things like a beautiful house and perfect weather and gorgeous cars, but also the things that really matter, like true love, real, trusted friendships, and a purpose that feels meaningful. What would it take for you to give up that life? Are you really willing to sacrifice to do what’s right? Are you willing to dismantle the system designed to serve you? That’s the world and the questions of Don’t Worry Darling.”
The movie will release in theaters on September 23 and stars Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Sydney Chandler and Nick Kroll.
