A light has gone out. Veteran actor, Alan Rickman, passed away today due to cancer.He was 69 years old. The actor had dozens of film credits, known by most for his roles in movies like Die Hard, Galaxy Quest and, most famously, the Harry Potter series, where he played the mysterious (and ultimately tragic) Professor Severus Snape.
To commemorate his passing, several Harry Potter stars shared their remembrances online, including Harry Potter creator JK Rowling and stars Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and more.
