In an interview with The Sun, former Union J singer George Shelley said, “I would never come out as gay. I wouldn’t put a label on it because I do like girls, I’ve fallen in love with girls, and I could never close that off.”

In February, Shelley posted a YouTube video and came out as bisexual, which inevitably fueled rumors that he would eventually come out as gay. When asked about his celebrity crushes, Shelley revealed he fancied, Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony and Calvin Harris saying “[he] looks pretty good, too. His body is amazing.”

When asked about leavingUnion J, which formed on The X Factor, the 23-year-old said, “It was a difficult period, and I didn’t know they were going to do that interview. We’d spent every day with each other for such a long time.”
