It’s October third! You know what that means!
Happy Mean Girls Day! Today is officially THE day that Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was.
To celebrate, Paramount has gone all out. The studio has updated all their socials to be decked out in pink, uploaded the entire Mean Girls movie to TikTok for free streaming, and given us the official theatrical release date for the Mean Girls the Musical movie.
Initially slated for a debut on Paramount+, the Mean Girls musical movie will instead hit theaters on January 12, 2024. It may be a Friday, but we will have our pink outfits ready!
What is the Mean Girls Movie?
Nearly two decades have passed since the original film, featuring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried, graced the screen. Since it’s premiere, this cinematic gem has blossomed into a beloved cult classic, sprinkled with iconic catchphrases and even earning its own dedicated national day.
Following the success of the 2004 movie, the story was adapted into a hit Broadway musical in 2018. Now, Paramount Pictures are returning the Mean Girls to screens once more in a movie adaptation of the musical.
