Rugby Team Hits the Showers for Steamy Mannequin Challenge

By  |

Every year, athletic clubs around the world strip down for charity. Most notably, The University of Warwick Boat Club (aka The Warwick Rowers) garner massive media attention every year with their breathtaking nude calendar. Although the Rowers have been dropping trou since 2009, SHU Rugby has produced nude charity calendars since 2001 and behind-the-scenes films since 2007. So, you could say they paved the way for the Rowers.

Today, SHU Rugby produces calendars, DVDs, and downloads to raise funds for their club and several charity causes. In the past, the proceeds benefitted organizations like Prostate Cancer UK, The Exotic Pet Refuge, and Help for Heroes. The lads claim they have raised more than $62,000 for charity, but they hope to take it to the next level by conquering Mannequin Challenge.

In the last week, you’ve probably seen dozens of Mannequin Challenge videos, but this one is worth a peek. If you’re not familiar with the Mannequin Challenge, here’s a brief introduction: The Mannequin Challenge is a viral video phenomenon that features people pretending to be mannequins. The Mannequin Challenge participants freeze for the camera while Rae Sremmurd’s Black Beatles featuring Gucci Mane plays in the background. Pretty simple, right?

Well, the studs of SHU Rugby created the steamiest Mannequin Challenge video out there. The guys stripped down, lathered up and hit the showers for the sudsiest video yet. Hopefully, the Rowers will take note; those boys will bring the bubbles and the butts!

The SHU Rugby Mannequin Challenge video isn’t exactly appropriate for work, but if you have a moment, give it a watch. And, if you like what you see, check out their 2017 video on YouTube.
