German musician Helmut Josef Geier, better known as DJ Hell, created an exciting music video for his track “I Want You” from his upcoming album Zukunftsmusik. The mixed-media video features homoerotic illustrations by Tom of Finland (aka Touko Laaksonen) combined with arousing animation by Xaver Xylophon.
After visiting Tom House, the Los Angeles home of Tom of Finland that is now a museum, the 54-year-old artist found inspiration to create a music video. In an interview with Attitude, DJ Hell discussed the house music scene. “House music emerged from that very early underground club scene in Chicago and New York City, with legendary clubs like The Warehouse and the Paradise Garage,” DJ Hell said.
He continued, “The soundtrack for those nights was presented by DJs like Ron Hardy and Larry Levan, bringing DJ/club culture and gay culture together. With my new album, I want to pay tribute to that movement and that time by highlighting Tom’s work.”
There are two versions of the video floating around the Internet. The video embedded below it the edited version; most of the explicit material is pixelated, but it’s still NSFW. Now, if you’re feeling adventurous, or even a little turned on, head over to Vimeo to enjoy the official video in all its uncut glory.
