In August, Tom Daley qualified for the Olympics in the 10-metre platform event. Recently, Daley and diving partner Daniel Goodfellow qualified for the synchronized diving event. Securing two chances to bring home a gold medal was no easy task.
In a YouTube video posted after the pair won gold at the British National Cup, the 21-year-old diver elaborated on the competition. “Conditions for the final were actually really tough … The standard was high and anything and everything you could think of as obstacles was thrown at us.” Daley said.
