Halleloo! Shangela Lights up LA on ‘Fully Lit’ Tour

Shangela started a spark in Koreatown for her fourth stop on her “Fully Lit” Tour.

Halleloo! Shangela is in the house! The drag queen, known for her multiple appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race, is touring the U.S. and delivering fiery performances and hilarious comedy.

“If you’ve ever been to a Shangela show, u know it’s gonna be a good time! See y’all soooon,” she wrote on Instagram.

During her stop in Los Angeles this week, over one thousand fans lined up outside The Wiltern to get a taste of the Shangela experience. For 90 minutes (and some change), Shangela told stories about her time on Dancing With the Stars, her big trip to The White House and of course, competing on Drag Race. She was ROBBED we tell you. Burglarized.

She also delivered multiple stunning performances and engaged with her fans in a fun and meaningful way.

Shangela Addresses Attacks on the Drag Community

Later in the evening, Shangela took the time to thank her sponsor AT&T for helping her to connect with so many people. In a time where there are increasingly violent rhetoric and incidents happening against the LGBTQIA+ community, this is so important.

“A lot of ya’ll know this. The drag community across America is under attack. People are using the drag community and the name, the experience that we have together, this kind of event right here, and saying that it is trying to groom children. That we don’t belong together as a public act.

“Because drag has become this political tug of war it’s being used in the media, a lot of brands have been like, ‘You know what we are gonna wait this one out.’ They did not want to support drag entertainment across America. But AT&T was the first one to say, ‘Shangela you’re going on tour? We’re coming with you bitch.'”
