Queer Eye culture expert Karamo Brown is engaged.
Brown, 37, proposed to his partner, director Ian Jordan, on Wednesday night at Hyde Sunset in Los Angeles. Brown invited Jordan to the restaurant under the pretense that they would celebrate Jordan’s birthday.
When they arrived, the QE star took his soon-to-be fiancé to a flower-filled room where their family and friends were waiting. At first, Jordan thought it was a surprise birthday party — but he was in for the surprise of his life.

Following a touching video and speech from Brown’s son, the Real World alum got down on one knee and popped the question.
Obviously, Jordan said “yes.”

On Tuesday, Jordan’s birthday, Karamo took to Instagram to express his love: “I love you because of your heart, your humor but mostly because you don’t mind serving #GlamourShots realness w/ me anytime I ask. I pray today and this year brings you everything your heart desires. #HBD #40ish #TurnUp”
Queer Eye season 2 is expected to hit Netflix in June 2019.
