Megan Fox Admits to Having Body Dysmorphia: “I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me”

Bisexual actress Megan Fox opened up about her body dysmorphia during an interview for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.

“There’s never a point in my life where I loved my body.”

Megan Fox is a prominent name in Hollywood. She is known for her roles in iconic franchises like Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and cult classics like Jennifer’s Body. Despite being seen as a sex symbol, the actress said she has struggled with her body image for years.

“I have body dysmorphia. I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me. There’s never a point in my life where I loved my body. Never, ever,” she told Sports Illustrated.

Fox said she has been aware of her image since she was young but confesses she is unsure what brought it on. “It definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even like acknowledged,” she continued.

The actress also confessed to being nervous about doing a bikini photoshoot. “Shooting Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is definitely a lot of pressure,” she admitted. “I have a vision in my head that I’m trying to achieve, so we’ll see if it pans out for me.”

From her cover shoot, Fox said she hopes more people will see her as a “genuine soul” and not just a “misunderstood outcast.” When asked what she wishes people would first notice about her, she said her “aura.” “Because I have a rainbow aura, and it’s special.”

Fox’s Engagement and Future Projects

Recently, Fox deleted all of her posts on her Instagram account with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelley. The two have not confirmed their split, but reports suggest they broke up last February. At this time, Fox’s Instagram is active but has no previous posts.
