Located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s vibrant Zona Romántica, The Tryst is ready to be your home base for a season packed with glam, glitter, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re here for the holy festivities of Semana Santa or the fabulous freedom of Pride, The Tryst’s calendar is overflowing with can’t-miss moments.
Holy Weekend, Unholy Fun: Semana Santa at The Tryst
From April 17 to 20, The Tryst is transforming Semana Santa into a glam-packed, high-camp holiday. Things kick off Thursday, April 17, with a special Dinner Under the Stars: Drag Edition. Held in the hotel’s lush Courtyard, the open-air dining event will feature performances by Drag Race México Season 2 champion Leexa Fox and fan-favorite Elektra Vandergeld. Expect powerhouse vocals, next-level glam, and more than a few surprises under the Puerto Vallarta sky.
On Friday, April 18, guests are invited to Sunset Cocktails at OCHO, the hotel’s sleek rooftop lounge. With skyline views, curated beats, and handcrafted cocktails, it’s the perfect place to sip, flirt, and soak in the golden hour.

But the pièce de résistance arrives Sunday, April 20, with The Wettest Drag Brunch in the World. Hosted by The Tryst’s First Lady, Pelayo, and featuring Elektra Vandergeld, this splashy spectacle delivers bottomless mimosas, cheeky Pinky Shots, and catwalks made for cannonballs. Two seatings at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. mean double the drama.
And because the party never stops, Sunday continues with a Rooftop Pool Party (Encore Edition) hosted by Elektra. Think cocktails, go-go dancers, and poolside fierceness, all without a reservation—just show up ready to slay.
Pride Week Takes Center Stage
The Pride vibes continue in May, with The Tryst leading the charge for Puerto Vallarta’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebration of the year. The festivities begin Tuesday, May 20, with an Out & About PV Mixer, a fabulous networking event for local LGBTQ+ leaders, influencers, and allies. Later that night, guests can enjoy a Vallarta Pride Screening Event, showcasing queer cinema in an intimate setting. Showtime begins at 8 p.m. Get your tickets at vallartapride.org.
Friday, May 23, brings the fan-favorite Drag Derby + Street Fair Extravaganza to Calle Pulpito. Sponsored by The Tryst, this hilarious, high-heel obstacle course features local drag queens competing for glory, followed by a street fair bursting with community, camp, and chaos (in the best way). Once the heels come off, the After Party moves to the rooftop, where cocktails and dancing keep the night alive.
Things wrap up with a bang on Sunday, May 25, with a very special edition of The Wettest Drag Brunch in the World, rumored to feature surprise appearances by global drag icons. And yes, there’s one more rooftop pool party to cool off and show out.
