Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber collaborated on a new track, “Monster.”
In the “Monster” music video, Mendes wanders through a foggy park in the middle of the night. He stumbles across a stage where he and Bieber meet. The pair alternate singing verses, each reflecting on the “pedestal” of fame and its downside. The song is part of Mendes’ expected studio album “Wonder”.

“But what if I what if I trip?/What if I, what if I fall?,” they sing in the chorus. “Then am I the monster?/Yeah, just let me know/What if I, what if I sin?/What if I, what if I break?/Then am I the monster?”

Before “Wonder”, which releases December 4, Mendes will premiere a Netflix documentary titled In Wonder, directed by Grant Singer, on November 23. The documentary focuses on Mendes’ swift rise to global superstardom over the past years, from hopeful singer-songwriter to an undeniable pop sensation.
In Wonder not only follows his journey, but it also catches Mendes wrestling with the stresses of celebrity and growing up in the public eye, as well as the hardships of being on tour.
