Russell Tovey is officially off the market, and we’re wildly jealous of his fine fiancé. The British-born Looking and Quantico and star told the Daily Mail he’s “very, very happy” about his engagement to his boyfriend, Steve Brockman.
Brockman is a rugby player who plays with the gay-inclusive rugby union club Kings Cross Steelers. Apparently, he relocated to New York to be with Tovey, who films Quantico in and around the city. Broadway.
Although little is known about the proposal, Tovey said it was “completely unexpected,” and that he and Brockman were “looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London.”
Except for occasional red carpets and Instagram posts, Tovey and Brockman have been quiet about their relationship. In 2016, Tovey hinted to the relationship in an interview with the Evening Standard. At the time, he said they were in the “very early days,” and that his mystery boyfriend wasn’t “in the [entertainment] business” at all, which wasn’t entirely accurate.
Brockman allegedly performed for the gay adult website Randy Blue under the name Ryan Stack. According to the Daily Mail, Brockman porn past surfaced on Twitter shortly after the couple’s engagement announcement. At the time of this article, Randy Blue had several videos in their archive featuring Tovey’s hunk.
