Hollywood is buzzing with the latest scoop: Colman Domingo, the star who shone brightly in Rustin, might just land in the vast universe of Marvel! With fans everywhere on the edge of their seats, the big question is, will Domingo become the newest face in the MCU, the home of superheroes and epic adventures?
The Search for a New Villain
Jonathan Majors was all set to be the next big villain, Kang the Conqueror, hopping through time and universes to stir up trouble. He even popped up in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Loki. But after some legal troubles, Marvel had to say goodbye to Majors. Now, they’re in a bit of a pickle, trying to figure out their next move.
The talk of the town? They might ditch the Kang storyline or, because of Kang’s ability to pop up anywhere in the multiverse, cast someone new to take on the role. Enter Colman Domingo.

Domingo’s Reaction to the Rumors
Domingo spilled on the rumors swirling around him, stepping into Majors’s shoes, in a juicy piece for Vanity Fair. According to the actor, he was chilling at home when he first caught wind of the gossip. “I was like, What rumor? Who? Where is this coming from?” Domingo shared. By the next day, it seemed like everyone was talking about it.
Domingo revealed that his team has been chatting with Marvel for years about possibly joining the MCU. But is it for real this time? “I don’t know,” he admitted. “I would welcome a conversation around it.”
He’s keeping cool, focusing on his path regardless of the buzz. “Whatever they’re working out with Jonathan [Majors] and his legacy in the MCU, I feel like I just have to be in my own lane,” he said.
What’s Next for Domingo?
Domingo’s taking it all in stride. Whether he ends up playing Kang, another baddie like Dr. Doom, or chooses a totally different project, one thing’s for sure: fans can’t wait to see where his incredible talent takes him next. And let’s be honest, with the MCU’s rollercoaster popularity, Domingo has plenty of options to make a splash in Hollywood.
Stay tuned, Marvel fans! Whether Domingo joins the fight for justice or dives into another adventure, his journey is bound to be epic.
