The 2024 Emmy nominations have been announced, and queer talent and shows are shining brightly this year. From Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey’s standout performances in Fellow Travelers to Lily Gladstone’s nomination for Under the Bridge, we’re breaking down all the nominees.
The 2024 Emmy Nominees
The Bear
The Bear has scored an impressive 23 nods, setting a new record for the most nominations in a single year for a comedy series, just months after the 2023 Emmys in January.
The hit comedy-drama stars Jeremy Allen White as an award-winning chef who returns home to manage his late brother’s sandwich shop. Ayo Edebiri concluded season two with a nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, following her first Emmy win last year for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Jeremy Allen White is also nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and the show itself is up for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Fellow Travelers
Matt Bomer has earned his second Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, this time for his role as Hawk Fuller in Fellow Travelers.
His co-star Jonathan Bailey received his first-ever Emmy nomination for Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Tim Laughlin.
Baby Reindeer
Not only is the series up for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Richard Gadd is also nominated for Lead Actor and Writing for the series. Actress Jessica Gunning, who came out this Pride month, is up for Supporting Actress alongside costar Nava Mau.

Lily Gladstone- Nominated for the first time for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for Under the Bridge.
Hannah Einbinder- Received her third Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks.
Jodie Foster– Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for True Detective: Night Country.
Kali Ries- Foster’s co-star Kali Reis has secured her first nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Bowen Yang- Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Saturday Night Live.
Holland Taylor– Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for playing Cybil Richards in The Morning Show.
Sarah Paulson– Nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Red, White & Royal Blue– Nominated for Outstanding Television Movie.
