A Spooky Adventure in the German Alps
In Cuckoo, Schafer plays Gretchen, a girl who moves to the German Alps to live with her dad and his new family. But this isn’t your typical vacation spot. The place is filled with weird vibes, thanks to Mr. König, her dad’s boss, who’s oddly fascinated with Gretchen’s mute half-sister, Alma.
Gretchen starts hearing strange noises and seeing things that can’t be explained. It’s all fun and games until she stumbles upon a family secret that’s as shocking as it is horrifying. The teaser trailer shows Schafer, switchblade in hand, ready to face whatever creepy thing comes her way.
From Dystopia to Horror
Schafer is familiar with playing roles in eerie, thought-provoking worlds. Last year, she starred in The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, as Tigris Snow.
Why You Can’t Miss ‘Cuckoo’
Hunter Schafer’s venture into horror with Cuckoo promises to be thrilling. With a stellar cast and a gripping storyline against the eerie backdrop of the German Alps, this movie will keep you on the edge of your seat. So, mark your calendars for February 16 and get ready to dive into a world where the ordinary turns extraordinary and secrets lurk around every corner.
