“We’re here. We’re queer. Happy new year.”
Mae Martin, a non-binary comedian known for their Netflix comedy special SAP, has just hard-launched their new relationship with Survivor contestant Parvati Shallow.
The joyous pair celebrated the New Year by individually posting a delightful photo booth strip, capturing adorable moments of their shared smiles and kisses. “We’re here. We’re queer. Happy new year,” Shallow captioned her post. Martin used a similar caption in their post.
The Feel Good creator also treated followers to a brief video snippet of a joyous moment with Shallow, capturing the two enjoying a beachside Ferris wheel ride, with Shallow beaming and winking.
Who is Parvati Shallow
Shallow has appeared on numerous seasons of Survivor, the reality show where contestants, isolated in a remote location, navigate challenges, form alliances, and compete in various tasks to outwit, outplay, and outlast each other in a quest to win the ultimate prize. Beyond her triumph on Survivor Micronesia – Fans vs Favorites, Shallow has ventured into various spin-offs of the reality TV series, participating in Survivor: Cook Islands, Survivor: Winners at War, and Survivor: Heroes vs Villains. Notably, she is gearing up for her role in the upcoming second season of The Traitors US, scheduled to premiere on Peacock on January 12.
Mae Martin Has Been a Fan of Shallow For Years
Back in 2020, the comedian expressed their love for both Shallow and fellow Survivor luminary Boston Rob, even going as far to say they cried about it. Martin humorously lamented that their enthusiasm was lost on most people in England.
More pictures of the two can be seen in a photo dump also posted by Shallow. In it, she said, “things were weird and wild, hugs were good, dance parties popped, life felt truly alive.”
We are so happy for you both!
