Grant Harvey bares it all for Billy Boy.
Born in Hawthorne, Nevada, actor Grant Harvey grew up running his family’s pizza parlor alongside his parents and brother Brian. He moved to Los Angeles after studying journalism for a few years at the University of Nevada, slept on couches and took several part-time jobs before landing his first acting gig on the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of The American Teenager, starring Shailene Woodley. Ironically, he portrayed Grant Volberg, a pizza delivery boy.
Harvey is one of the most promising young actors to emerge out of Los Angeles. Harvey co-stars in the new film Billy Boy, the directorial debut of Bradley Buecker, one of Ryan Murphy’s chief collaborators. You may not have heard of the film, but after this post, you may want to check it out.
The film follows a young man named Billy (Blake Jenner, Glee), as he attempts to navigate through a swamp of desperation. When his friend is found dead, Billy’s world is forever changed. He tries to move on from his dark past and even falls in love with a beautiful girl named Jennifer (Melissa Benoit, Supergirl). However, Billy’s past catches up with him and feelings of resentment and despair put his future in jeopardy.
Like his co-star Jenner, Harvey elected to go full-frontal for his role in Billy Boy. In the film, he plays Mikey Valentino, and like Jenner’s character, he goes full-frontal (and semi-hard) in the shower.
