Millennials Prefer to Hook up Before the First Date

Gay Millennials Kissing

According to a new study, Millennials prefer to hook up before going on a date. That’s right; Millennials use sex to filter through the flops. Researchers at Singles in America studied 5,500 people from a diverse pool of participants. The investigation revealed that of 34 percent of the cooperators aged 18-34 prefer to have sex before going on a first date.

The study showed that of all age groups examined, Millennials were most likely to hook up before dating. Unsurprisingly, “Millennials are 48 percent more likely to sleep with someone right away to see if there’s a connection.”

Additionally, men are three times more likely than women to start a relationship with a one-night-stand. For men who like men, it could come down to compatibility; tops presumably fancy bottoms and some queer men prefer well-endowed partners. Coitus before commitment seems only natural if you’re curious about size. The study also revealed the popularity of sending dick pics; 47 percent of Millennial men confessed to sending photos of their junk.

Biological anthropologist Helen Fisher, who helped develop the survey, says, “[Millennials] are very career oriented. So sex before the first date could be a sex interview, where they want to know if they want to spend time with this person.”
