Mark your calendars! Heartstopper season 3 is officially dropping on Netflix on October 3!
In addition to announcing the official release date, Netflix also shared an exclusive clip from the new season. Charlie (Joe Locke) is struggling to tell Nick (Kit Connor) he loves him. Luckily, his sister Tori is there to offer some kind advice. The sweet sibling moment is ruined when Nick shows up in a little vest, and Charlie has a hard time not screaming, “I love you.” We do not blame him.
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish’s new song “Birds Of A Feather” from her upcoming album, Hit Me Hard And Soft, plays in the background. Watch it here!
About Season Three
Season three of Heartstopper promises to be darker and raunchier
“Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go to plan.”
EVERYONE SAY “HI” TO JACK MADDOX (AKA OUR FOREVER CRUSH JONATHAN BAILEY).
It’s real! Jonathan Bailey, the Bridgerton star and upcoming Wicked heartthrob, has joined the cast of Heartstopper for season 3. According to Netflix, Bailey is joining for a cameo appearance as Jack Maddox, Charlie’s Instagram-famous crush.
In addition to Bailey, Eddie Marsan (Back to Black, Ray Donovan) and Hayley Atwell (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Captain America: The First Avenger) will be guest starring.
Other Projects
As we eagerly await Charlie and Nick’s on-screen reunion, catch the actors in their other captivating roles.
This fall, Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler will light up Broadway with their debuts in a dynamic new production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Joe Locke, on the other hand, is diving into a thrilling new chapter. He is set to conjure up TV magic alongside Katherine Hahn in Marvel’s Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.
Season one and two of Heartstopper are streaming on Netflix now.
